Abstract: Based on his personal impressions and field studies in 15 countries of Tropical Africa (1962-2010) the author analyzes the traditional system of teaching and education of children and teenagers in African villages and tribes. Based on the author, this traditional system of preparing children for independent life is typical for the epoch of Neolithic Revolution.

Abstract: the author of the article makes an attempt to describe the model of intelligence as it is shown in a myth. Various traditions of myth-telling are conventionally divided into the two types. The first type relates to an attempt to explain the origin of intelligence as a process of humanization of the natural world. On the contrary, the second approach assumes that the surrounding world is a ‘material’ form of intelligence. Analyzing the both types of a myth the author tries to define the universal conception of origin of intelligence in mythology.
