Shinkaretskaya, G.G. Position of factually existing regimes (unaccepted states).

Abstract: About 200 regimes strive to obtain the status of a sovereign state. Their inner structure responds to the criteria of that of a state. Anyway they are not recognized as such. The right of peoples to self-determination does not presume the right to the territorial separation. International law forbids the use of force either by such regimes or by other states against them.
