Abstract:
This article by D.O. Ezhevsky is devoted to various models of local self-government in Europe. As the author points out, in spite of the differences, one can see the common will to find unified ap-proach to local governments, setting common European standards. This experience may be also useful to the Russian Federation. The article also includes the analysis of the Russian experience of forming associations and unions in the municipal sphere.
