This journal specializes in the area of application of information technologies and mathematical methods in historical research.

The published materials reflect the experience of digitization of historical sources and computerized analysis thereof, as well as functionality of historical science and education in the new digital environment.

The main areas of interests cover the quantitative history, cliometrics, creation of databases and digital resources, methods of electronic analysis of historical data, 3D modeling technologies in tasks of virtual reconstruction of historical and cultural heritage, historical GIS applications, computerized analysis of historical texts, computer source analysis, modeling of historical processes, and digital archeology technologies.
