Abstract: the author of the article makes an attempt to describe the model of intelligence as it is shown in a myth.
Various traditions of myth-telling are conventionally divided into the two types. The first type relates to an attempt
to explain the origin of intelligence as a process of humanization of the natural world. On the contrary, the second
approach assumes that the surrounding world is a ‘material’ form of intelligence. Analyzing the both types of a myth
the author tries to define the universal conception of origin of intelligence in mythology.
