DOI:

Abstract: Currently, demotivation, lack of cognitive interest, worldview and existential indifference of the students are perceived as a matter of course. One of the reasons consists in how the school and university pedagogues deliver the material. The students often say that they have no interest, as the cannot grasp what the teacher is saying. Thus, the material naturally becomes uninteresting, boring and “unnecessary”. This is one of the sources of mental indifference. The aim of this research is to establish correlation between the level of cognitive interest of students and pedagogical competence of the teacher, as well as and determine the key components of such competence and the ways for their formation in the educational process. The authors substantiate the dependence of the level of cognitive interest and motivation of students on the pedagogical competence. The theoretical and practical importance of this article lies in revelation the fundamental factors of students’ demotivation, which are directly related to the specificity of educational activity of the pedagogue, demonstration of the key components of pedagogical competence, as well as the methods for their formation, development and improvement, which can be used for remedying the lack of cognitive interest, educational and overall ideological and existential indifference of youth.

Rakhinsky D.V., Lunev V.V., Luneva T.A., Shcheblyakov E.S. - The principles of planning educational process in the conditions of self-organization of students: synergetic approach pp. 32-39

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0676.2021.2.35320

Abstract:   The object of this research is the process of self-organization of students of the higher school. The subject is the principles of planning the educational process in the higher school in the conditions of self-organization of students on the basis of synergetic approach. The goal consists in theoretical substantiation of the model of educational process in the higher school in accordance with pedagogical synergetics. Research methodology is the pedagogical synergetics. Synergetic approach allows integrating the experience accumulated in pedagogical science and creating the model of educational process in the conditions of information society and the self-organizing learning environment. The authors examine the two approaches towards self-organization of students: personal and collective. The principles of planning the educational process in the conditions of self-study of students and rich information environment based on synergetic approach are proposed. The conclusion is made that synergetics can serve as a methodological framework for studying the phenomena of self-organization in the learning process of students in the higher school. The two forms of self-organization are determined: coherent (from homogeneous elements) and continual (from heterogeneous elements). It is demonstrated that progressive self-organization in pedagogical systems can be only of continual type. The article offers the following principles of planning the educational process by the type of continual self-organization: the principle of diversity at the entry to system, the principle of continuous interaction and openness of the system, the principle of nonlinearity of development, and the principle of system memory. The novelty of this work consists in formulation of the principles of pedagogical synergetics on the methodological level for planning the educational process of the students of higher school. The authors' special contribution lies in substantiation of the role of diversity and memory in the context pf self-organization in open pedagogical systems.

Values and goals of education
Slukin P.V., Slukina N.A. - Formation of the goals of general education as part of the social system pp. 154-164

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0676.2021.2.32995

Abstract: The subject of this research is formation of the goals of general education. The majority of modern authors correlate formation of the goals of education with the traditions and trends existing in pedagogical practice; some authors formulate the goals of education based on the expert opinion; others rely on the futuristic forecasts of social development; and only few of them obtain educational goals from the science-based theories dedicated to personality development of a child. Such divergence of opinions allow speculating the goals of education, since the concepts of “social procurement”, “world traditions”, “harmonious personality development”, and “expert opinion”, although being virtually indeterminate and susceptible to personal fluctuations and political trends, are ultimately enshrined normative documents. This defines the relevance of the topic of formation of the goals of education regardless of personal, political, or other attitudes. The research problem is formulated in the following way: whether there is an invariant basis in the concept of the “goals of education”. This article explores the question of formation of the goals of general education from the perspective of systemology. Leaning on the theory of complex systems and the theory of signal transmission, the author outlines the goals of general education, which are interconnected by society and the state. The author describes how these goals are reflected in pedagogical practice and the Russian law “On Education”. The acquired results testify to the fact that the goals of general education are focused on the three aspects: inclusion of a child into the “social norms” subsystem; child’s development for effective resistance to the “external environment”; child’s development for effective interaction within the “educational structure” subsystem. All the identified goals are crucial, as they resemble the structure of relations between society, the state, and external environment. All other goals of education either correlated with the three aforementioned goals, or are not related to education. A hypothesis is advances on the hierarchy of goals: 1) preservation of society; 2) relationship with the external environment; efficiency of such relationship in the society. All these goals are reflected in the modern pedagogical practice, which may suggest the triviality of the formulated conclusions. In the scheme described by the author, they are not obtained empirically, but rather indicate systemic relationship with society and the state. The novelty of this research lies in justification of reasons for forming the goals of education. The provided formulizations allow to accurately and logically outline the strategy and structure of educational policy, both on the federal level and on the level each individual pedagogue.

The environmental approach allows analyzing the act of learning, which implies actualization of the problem situation, unconscious response of the body to it, conscious activity on building the patterns and solving the problem situation, awareness of the obtained solution. The article reviews two perspectives of culture the students are being introduced to in “The Searchers” (non) school: accepted in the state, and shared by the family and pedagogues of the (non) school. In conclusion, the author raises the three complex topics: the social nature of education, the role of subjective factor of development, and the attitude of new education towards traditional.
