Martyshenko N.S., Martyshenko S.N. - Algorithmization of the process of analyzing the reliability of online questionnaire data pp. 76-85

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0714.2018.4.28367

Abstract: With the proliferation of online forms design services for online surveys, the number of researchers using questionnaires in research practice has increased significantly. One of the problems that was present in the traditional form of the survey on paper and was transferred to online surveys is the problem of data reliability. Most researchers using online surveys have higher queries to automate research. They are not ready to make significant efforts to increase the reliability of the data. In this paper, we propose to consider an algorithm for automating the process of analyzing the reliability of questionnaire data. The proposed algorithm is based on the use of a sliding exam procedure for testing individual multidimensional observations obtained during an online survey. The main hypothesis underlying the developed method consists in the fact that the subordination of the questionnaire questions to some general topic leads to some latent connections between answers that are violated by random answers. A multi-dimensional statistical criterion was developed for testing personal data. The method is very simple to use and is available even for not sophisticated researchers.

Martyshenko S.N. - Automating the formation of databases based on the results of questionnaires pp. 7-14

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0714.2017.4.22887

Abstract: The research is devoted to computer technologies for processing personal data. In the article particular attention is paid to the preparatory stage of data processing, which precedes the meaningful analysis of data. This stage of work largely determines the quality of the results of the whole work. The preparatory stage is very time-consuming and requires a lot of time. Automation of the work of participants in the process of collecting information makes it possible to increase the efficiency of the entire system for the analysis of personal data. The purpose of this study is to develop a software tool that allows the data collected in various ways to be combined into a single database. To analyze various schemes for organizing information collection and transferring information to the computer medium, the methodology of system analysis was used. In addition, the practical experience of using various Internet services for organizing online surveys was used. Computer technology has the property of universality, allowing the use of a wide range of schemes and methods of organizing questionnaires. The advantage of the technology is its ease of use and availability to a wide range of users who use the EXCEL environment in their work. The effectiveness of the developed software was confirmed in the course of practical work on the study of the socio-economic problems of the region.

Martyshenko N.S. - Examination of processes affecting the student’s’ satisfaction on choice of profession pp. 131-142

DOI:
10.25136/2409-8736.2017.4.24347

Abstract: The choice of profession is crucial decision made in the life of any person. The subject of this research is the processes of professional self-identification of the students. The article comprehensively analyses the choice of future profession, as well as asses the subjective changes of the image of profession in educational process. Professional deprivation negatively affects the psychological state of the students and possibility of their professional self-realization. The author considers such aspects of the topic as the professional deprivation substantiated by the discrepancy of students’ professional expectations and self-realization in the selected profession. Special attention is given to the value orientations and the impact of the character of profession upon the students’ professional goals. The author surveyed the students of Primorsky Krai (n=600) for determining the level of satisfaction with the choice of profession. The results demonstrated that the changes in the process of professional self-identification of youth are defined by the qualitative transformations in the society. High school graduates often select the future profession without studying the character and conditions of the professional activity, as well as situation at the job market, and actual employment opportunity. The modern youth is not afraid of possibility to adjust their profession in the future. The author underlines that modern universities to do pay due attention to the professional orientation regarding the transition “from education to work”, thus it is necessary to develop the structures assisting the employment that help introducing the students to job market.

Martyshenko N.S. - Analysis of the problems of Catering University Students: Socio-Economic Aspects pp. 70-89

DOI:
10.25136/2409-8647.2017.3.23874

Abstract: Nutrition is an essential component of students' health. In recent years, there has been a steady trend of deterioration in the nutrition structure of students, which is confirmed by numerous publications on this topic. The main purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of eating behavior of students in universities of Primorsky Krai. The basis of the research is the questionnaire survey of students of the Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service. A dangerous trend in the consumption of fast food by students has been revealed. The difference between the method of questioning used is the wide use of open questions, for processing of which the original technologies for analyzing qualitative data were used. During the processing of survey data, a number of typologies were developed that revealed the characteristics of the eating behavior of students. The structure of the food ration has been determined and the estimates of the food costs for various groups of students have been calculated. Particular attention in the article is given to the analysis of students' proposals for improving the work of catering points of the university. Some recommendations on the improvement of the university nutrition system are formulated.

Martyshenko N.S., Martyshenko S.N. - Conditions and trends for the development of international tourism market in Japan

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0684.2016.12.19605

Abstract: The subject of this research is the international tourism market of Japan – one of the bordering countries with Russia’s Primorsky Krai. The study of this market attains special relevance in light of introduction of the new laws by the government of the Russian Federation, which encourage the investment activity in Primorsky Krai, as well as the establishment of the new state economic policy of Japan with regards to tourism. The authors carefully examine such aspects of the topic as the exchange of tourists between the key actors of the tourism market of the Northeast Asia. Special attention is given to the types of tourism that can be in demand among the Japanese tourists and other bordering with Primorsky Krai states. The methodology of analysis of the market includes such components as collection of information about the size, dynamics, and potential of development of the market, structure of propositions on goods and services, behavioral peculiarities of the actual and potential customers, national specificities, as well as competitiveness between the manufacturers of products and services. Certain conditions for development of the mass foreign tourism in the region are being determined. The authors also highlight the tourism directions, the development of which can become the drivers of advancement of the international tourism in Primorsky Krai. The place of cruise tourism as the key type of tourism for the port city, along with the new opportunities for the growth of foreign tourism due to collaboration with other regions of the Far East are being defined.

Martyshenko S.N., Martyshenko N.S. - Information technology of construction cognitive models

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0714.2016.4.21456

Abstract: The subject of study is computer technology for research automation by the construction of graphical cognitive model. Cognitive modeling helps better understanding of the problem situation on the basis of a qualitative analysis of the system. Cognitive modeling has been used in the development of management decisions in economic, sociological and environmental and other semi-structured systems. The essence of the cognitive approach is to develop effective management strategy, based not so much on intuition, but mostly on the orderly and verified knowledge of the complex system. Population surveys or polls of expert groups can be used as the source of such knowledge. The developed method of constructing cognitive model involves building a model in two stages. At the first stage a rough model based on identifying the most common opinions of large groups of the population is built. At the second stage, the model is improved by involving small groups of qualified experts. This stage allows to determine quantitative assessment of the links cognitive model. The authors developed a set of tools to automate the work of researchers in the development of cognitive models. The advantage of the developed computer technology is that it allows the user to focus on the researched topic, without spending time on routine calculations. The study proves that the developed software tool has the following features: efficiency, reliability, flexibility, processability, availability.

The author identifies the categories of goods and services that demonstrated the drop in demand as a result of the sanctions against Russia, and conducts the analysis of the data from the monitoring of the social wellness of the population of Primorsky Krai, as well as various assessments of the consumer reactions to the changes in the market that have been gathered from two polls conducted in October of 2014 and October of 2015. A distinguishing factor of the conducted polls consists in the use of a vast number of open questions. A special computer program was used to summarize and categorize the responses. The author concludes that the social wellness of the population is the key component of the success or failure of the reforms conducted by the government and branches of local authority.
