Abstract:
The author studied the problem of interactions between the Cheka and revolution tribunals from the point of view of serious contradictions in their organizational and legal natures. The author also analyzed the process of differentiation of competence and powers between these two repressive authorities and certain attempts to give a more concrete legal status and minimize these contradictions between them.
