Chechen Republic demonstrates the high percentage of crimes related to illicit traffic of drugs. The government of the republic often compares the fight against drugs to the fight against terrorism. Illicit traffic of drugs is one of the basic sources of financing of terrorism and extremism. The author of the article describes the main trends of counter-narcotic actions
