Bogachev A.M., Ermakova N.G. - The prevalence factor of post-traumatic stress disorders among students of Mariupol pp. 1-12

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0722.2024.2.70023

Abstract: The subject of the study is post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) of people exposed to stress factors in the city of Mariupol during the active phase of the Special Military Operation in the city. Taking into account the tasks of socio-psychological rehabilitation of the civilian population located in an area of increased risk of psychological and physical trauma, identifying the level of prevalence of PTSD in Mariupol is extremely relevant from both a scientific and applied point of view. Obtaining relevant information is important both for further in-depth research and for the development and implementation of appropriate programs of socio-psychological and (or) depth psychological rehabilitation. In addition, this information is relevant in the context of solving the problem of forming the all-Russian civic identity among new generations of Russians. The study used structured clinical interview technology, as well as the Clinical-Administered PTSD Scale (CAPS) and a PTSD screening questionnaire. Based on the data obtained during the study, it was concluded that, in comparison with similar indicators identified among the civilian population of Afghanistan and Chechnya, who were in the territory of intense military operations and experienced the effects of powerful stress factors, as well as among people who witnessed the shooting of the Russian parliament in 1993, the prevalence of PSTD among residents of Mariupol who were in the city during the operation to liberate it is quite low. In the opinion of the authors of the article, this fact is explained by the fact that the majority of Russian citizens who remained in Mariupol and returned to it perceive the military actions of 2022 as a “forced necessity”. This leads to the conclusion about the extreme importance of using psychological and psychological-pedagogical technologies in the sphere of protecting traditional values.

Bogachev A.M. - Synthetic concept of working with dreams: approbation in the field of psychological psychotherapy and personality development pp. 1-23

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0722.2024.1.43920

Abstract: This paper presents the results of a scientific study aimed at determining the effectiveness of the synthetic concept of dreams when applied in the field of psychological psychotherapy (psychocorrection) and (or) in the field of personality development. Accordingly, the mental reality of the subjects is presented as an object of research, and as its subject of research – "transformation of the states and (or) personality characteristics of the participants in the experiment in the context of the use of a synthetic algorithm for working with dreams." The research was conducted in the form of an experiment, the participants of which, in interaction with the experimenter, who performed the function of interpreter and "guide", comprehended their dreams and carried out direct work with them. The main conclusions drawn on the basis of the results of the study were the confirmation of the effectiveness of the presented synthetic concept of dreams and, therefore, the idea of dreaming as a natural psychotherapeutic (psychocorrective) mechanism, as well as the material with which work contributes to the development of personality. Taking into account the high scientific interest and practical significance of studying the integral structure of a person's mental reality in the context of improving his psychological well-being in a stressful environment and, at the same time, the known complexity of the study of such a phenomenon as dreams, the work can claim the status of one of the steps to scientific discovery.

Bogachev A.M., Vyalkova I.A., Vintonyuk T.G. - Rehabilitation of survivors of shock psychological trauma by methods of deep existential psychology pp. 26-47

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0722.2023.4.43580

Abstract: This paper presents the results of a study based on a formative experiment in the field of psychological psychotherapy. We are also talking about the rehabilitation of people who have experienced a shock psychological trauma, using methods of deep existential psychology and in the context of appealing to fundamental (traditional) values. The use of methods of transpersonal psychology, art therapy, body-oriented psychotherapy, psychosynthesis, united by a theological and psychological methodology based on the principle of participation (the commandment "love your neighbor as yourself") is considered by the authors as extremely promising in the field of overcoming the consequences of shock trauma and, accordingly, stress disorders of various etiologies. In modern Russian society, this topic is obviously extremely relevant. Despite the fact that deep psychology is, in its own way, a traditional method of working with individuals who have experienced serious psychological trauma, its application in working with people who have experienced psychological shock trauma in the liberated territories implies an element of innovation. At the same time, the combination of technologies of deep psychology with access to the sphere of direct, personal meaningful, existential experience of the significance and essence of the fundamental values of Russian culture opens, in our opinion, an extremely promising direction of activity of practical psychologists and (or) psychotherapists. The conclusions presented in the article make it possible to build the structure of such activities.

Bogachev A.M., Teplykh G.I., Kavchuk P.N. - Formation of the All-Russian civil identity in the territories liberated during the SVO: risks and prospects pp. 44-52

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0722.2023.3.40634

Abstract: The article "Formation of the All-Russian civil identity in the territories liberated during the SVO: risks and prospects" is devoted to the actual problem of socio-psychological integration of residents of the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions in the all-Russian space in conjugation of this problem with such factors as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and social stress disorder (SSR). The authors of the article believe that to solve this and other problems, it is necessary to apply a special theological and psychological approach. This approach is associated with the actualization in psychological reality and with the help of psychological tools of creative attitudes based on traditional values for Russia.   This article presents the author's material based on the experience of working in the territories liberated during the SVO and included in Russia (Mariupol), which allows conceptually assessing the risks and prospects for the formation of an all-Russian civil identity in these territories. According to the authors, they should be considered in the context of extrapolation to the entire territory of Russia from the point of view of both eliminating the consequences of social stress disorders and protecting the traditional values of domestic civilization. The unique concept of including citizens of the "new territories" in the general field of Russian identity in the context of overcoming the consequences of PTSD and SSR, as well as extrapolating the experience gained to work on the prevention of extremism throughout the Russian Federation is presented.

Bogachev A.M., Lomonos A.A., Bobrova N.V. - "Strict Care" as the Basis of Educational and Psychocorrective Activities in Russian Penitentiary pp. 1-16

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0676.2023.1.38849

Abstract: The article presents the adaptation of the pedagogical and psychological-pedagogical approach based on the idea of "strict care". The authors prove the thesis about the need to actualize in the mental reality of individuals who have committed crimes a sense of belonging (community) and creative attitudes (first of all, towards healthy parenthood) as a basis for awakening conscience as opposed to malignant guilt and shame. This feeling, in turn, turns to a transcendent function that manifests itself during the spiritual development of the individual and the acquisition of meaning. The authors also present the idea of developing a program for the upbringing and personal development of women convicted for the first time for crimes of small and medium gravity. It is assumed that the implementation of the developed program will become the basis for a series of empirical studies. The scientific novelty of the research is in the synthesis of the domestic approach to education based on the experience of Anton Makarenko and the concept of individual psychology and pedagogy by Alfred Adler, as well as an existential approach equally applicable both in the field of pedagogy and psychology. This kind of synthesis allows us to reach a practice-oriented methodology and appropriate methods in educational and educational-psychological work on rehabilitation and personal development of women convicted of minor crimes and convicted for the first time. In case of practical success of the implementation of the relevant program, it can be extrapolated both to other categories of convicts, and, in the future, to the pedagogical and psychological-pedagogical co-education of persons suffering from PTSD.

Bogachev A.M., Prilutskii A.M., Blinkova A.O., Marikhin S.V. - “Religiousness” as a factor of positive or negative attitude on transplantology pp. 70-83

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0722.2020.2.32926

Abstract: An evident technological progress in the area of preservation of life and improvement of its quality, also due to dynamic development of transplantology, is accompanied by active antagonism towards this process, caused by diverse phenomena. In a number of cases, such attitudes are a threat to human life and wellbeing, although in some situations may manifest as the factors of healthy conservatism. Among these phenomena are the religious beliefs that take roots in the archaic “stages” of mental reality (which does not mean automatic inadequacy). All these occurrences require meticulous scientific examination. The authors apply multidisciplinary approach that includes in-depth psychological, religious, philosophical and medical approaches. The following conclusions were made: 1) among a significant amount of churched believers attributed to both Christian and Muslim faiths, the topic of transplantology is associated with a strong unconscious conflict; 2) this conflict is also referred to the sphere of archaic religiousness that partially relates to the perception of “shadow” sides of human psyche and to the “paranoid-schizoid” layer; 3) based on the aforementioned arguments, there is a need for conducting an additional large-scale research of defense mechanisms emerging in the context of perception of the phenomena of transplantology; 4) some believers should clarify the attitude on transplantology for themselves (either negative or positive); no obvious differences  are determined between the Orthodox or Muslim believers with regards to transplantology.

Bogachev A.M. - On some aspects of practical work with night dreaming pp. 54-67

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0722.2020.1.32332

Abstract: In modern practical psychology, the work with imagination as a whole, and night dreaming in particular, is of considerable importance. Various approaches offer different interpretation of the essence of night dreaming state, and thus, diverse techniques of working with a client. However, the demand for the universal synthetic approach within the framework of psychological aid (consulting psychology, correctional psychology, and (or) nonmedical psychotherapy) is highly relevant in both, theoretical and applied aspect. The author attempt to answer such request based on the experience acquired in the process of rendering practical psychological aid. The object of this study is psychical reality of the recipients of psychological services. The subject is the state of consciousness during sleep of the recipients of psychological services. The main conclusion consists in proving the efficiency of the synthetic approach towards work with night dreaming developed and tested by the author of the article. The scientific and applied novelty of this approach lies in the ability to overcome a range of difficulties faced by the practitioners in the area of depth psychology.

Bogachev A.M. - Horror movies and nightmares: some aspects of psychological analysis of the phenomena pp. 39-49

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0722.2019.4.31301

Abstract: This article presents an attempt of scientific in-depth psychological interpretation of the perception of symbolics contained in horror movies, namely in the context of such occurrence as nightmares, sleep paralysis, etc. The relevance of this work is defined by acuteness of the problems related to destructive tendencies within the teenage and youth environments in Russia. Emphasis is made on interpretation of the essence of an object (horror movies) and subject (associates with them mental processes and phenomena) of research, and their correlation with developmental psychology overall, specificity of the age of adolescence in particular, as well as the audience for corresponding movies. The scientific novelty consists in “multidimensional” interpretation of the phenomena in question, considering the psychoanalytically oriented theories and authorial concept. The work particularly analyzes symbolics of the popular movie “It Chapter 2” and describes (including from axiological “reference point”) perspectives on the indicated problematic. Conclusions obtained in this research are valuable in the area of psychological education, psychological counselling and self-analysis, as well as in development of the theory of psychology in the corresponding segment.
