Tsvetkova M. - Self-Reflection as a Form of Mind's Agency pp. 22-29

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0722.2018.2.21440

Abstract: The subject of the research is reflection as a form of mind's agency. Being an expanded concept of control, mind's agency fundamentally means complete and directed interaction between internal worlds ('mind levels') of individuals. Thus, agency is an ability of an individual to modify (change) the internal world of the cognizable. This is one's ability to create the ones that are alike, i.e. create one's own model of the world and other agency that is no less than one's own. In her research Tsvetikova demonstrates that our mind has agency as an ability of reflective influence of a mind of one individual on the mind of another individual. In fact, the main feature of the reflective mechanism is to make a controlled actor be aware of his or her personal choice through creating an image of a situation where an actor consciously makes a decision in favor of a controlling actor. Such interaction of actors is viewed by the author as the control over the inner world of the other actor and means agency. For the first time in the academic literature the author demonstrates a transformative function of the mind's reflection as revealing the mind's agency which may display itself as the extension of the mind's agency through restructuring of reflection of other individuals and, consequently, restructuring of the goal-setting process performed by the secondary actors interaction. Analysis of reflective aspects of the mind's agency allows to expand a scientific definition of the mind phenomenon and enable the society to make a scientifically well-grounded choice of systemic actors that have the agency for personal development as their feature.

Tsvetkova M. - Issues of the reflexive choice of the actors of social policy pp. 23-29

DOI:
10.7256/2409-7144.2016.3.17879

Abstract: This article focuses attention on the issues of scientifically substantiated establishment of the actors of social policy. In the author’s opinion, the effective development requires the reflexive mechanism of choosing the actors of social policy based on the models of the inner world of an actor, which will allow planning the actors’ relations from the sociopolitical conflicts towards the manageable confrontation and compromise. The author demonstrates that the positions of algebraic theory of reflection of an actor play a key role on the establishment of the actors of social policy, not as much by the rational qualities, as by the types of reflection. The algebraic theory of reflection of an actor allows examining the social subjectivity from the algorithmic point of view, in other words, we can discuss what type of subjectivity of social policy should be formed. The main conclusion consists in the fact that the analysis of the reflexive structure of the actors of administration will allow choosing the actors of social policy, which possess a reflection on compromise as a framework instrument of the group compatibility and an instrument of actors’ responsibility of social policy. The author proposes to view the reflexive model as the model of managing the social subjectivity, the main concept of which is the reflection on responsible cooperation and conscious compromise of the actor’s relations in the society.

Tsvetkova M. - Reflexive Modelling of Political Actors' Interaction

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0684.2015.3.14616

Abstract: This article reveals the possibilities and prospects of reflexive modelling of political actors’ interaction. Today, political scientists have begun to realize more clearly the necessity of regulatory mechanisms of co-existence, which are not based on individualism, but on cooperation, and which allow dynamic transition from conflict to a managed confrontation and cooperation. These mechanisms are primarily focused on the relations between the actors, allowing to describe not only the usefulness of the relationship between political actors, but also the structure of the inner world of political entities. Today we need the formalized theory, which allows us to describe the interaction between actor’s inner worlds and their motives.Reflexive mechanisms offer a theoretical framework for understanding the actor’s relations and their behavior. The main feature of actor’s reflexive model is that the syntax of the model describes the algorithmic meaning of the choice of actor’s behavior, and also contains formal description of the psychological state of the actor during the act. This article confirms the adequacy of the algebraic reflexive theory in modelling of interactions of the actors. The main content of reflection of actors’ relations is for the actor to realize the free choice of relations with another actor on the basis of ethical type of choosing actor’s reflection. In this sense, it is enough to simulate a reflective structure of the political actor to identify the predominant type of its political relations and the psychology of choice in behavior towards others.
