Abstract: The article includes analysis of specific features of prohibiting norms of administrative law, the author establishes their structure and place within the mechanism of legal regulation of social relations, which are established in the sphere of public government. Based on analysis of specific features of prohibiting norms of administrative law, the author formulates propositions on improvement of administrative legislation.
